Jeanine Lesniak, HPs and Rev. Jon Lesniak, HP in the year 2000 to fill the community\u2019s need for an\u00a0organization where trained, initiated\u00a0and ordained Wiccan clergy could offer\u00a0traditional services, counseling, rites of passage, weddings, etc., and could also train new clergy and bring students up through the Wiccan Degree system.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;\">In\u00a0addition to these functions,\u00a0<span style=\"color: #706800;\">Golden Thread Grove Church-ATC<\/span>continues to offer the annual Goddess Fest event, to provide services to inmates in all the jails and prisons in Ada and Canyon Counties, to present weekly services open to the public, to put on a yearly public Samhain Ritual Drama and to represent the Wicca and the international Aquarian\u00a0Tabernacle Church through education via the news media, public appearances, open Sabbats, classes and so on. We are an excited, active, growing group of\u00a0individuals who put Spirit first in our lives, seek wisdom, knowledge and\u00a0personal evolution, offer service to the community and at all times strive to\u00a0uphold the Wiccan Rede: \u201cAn it harm none, do as thou wilt.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle admin_label=&#8221;Our Community&#8221; title=&#8221;Our Community&#8221; open=&#8221;off&#8221; title_font_size=&#8221;16&#8243; body_font_size=&#8221;14&#8243; use_border_color=&#8221;off&#8221; border_color=&#8221;#ffffff&#8221; border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia; font-size: medium;\"><b><span style=\"color: #706800;\">Golden Thread Grove Church<\/span><\/b>\u00a0is an open Circle, and we learn through stories, myths, songs, dances, oracles, demonstrations, dramas, rituals and experiences rather than sermons and\/or lectures. Our name,\u00a0<span style=\"color: #706800;\"><b>Golden Thread Grove (GTG)<\/b><\/span>\u00a0is drawn from all the myths and verses about the\u00a0<b><span style=\"color: #706800;\">Golden Thread<\/span><\/b>\u00a0that binds us together and provides continuity to our human existence. The\u00a0<b><span style=\"color: #706800;\">Golden Thread<\/span><\/b>\u00a0represents all the things we have in common with each other and all who\u2019ve ever lived and ever will live. It is the Thread of Truth that runs through all the stories of the ancients and is still true today. The\u00a0<b><span style=\"color: #706800;\">Golden Thread<\/span><\/b>speaks to the interconnectedness and oneness of all\u00a0living beings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Georgia;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b><span style=\"color: #706800;\">Golden Thread Grove Church-ATC\u00a0<\/span><\/b>is a local charter member of the Aquarian Tabernacle Church, a worldwide Wiccan organization that supports the practice of Wicca and promotes education of the public as to the true nature of our religion.<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_toggle][et_pb_toggle admin_label=&#8221;Our Beliefs&#8221; title=&#8221;Our Beliefs&#8221; open=&#8221;off&#8221; title_font_size=&#8221;16&#8243; body_font_size=&#8221;14&#8243; use_border_color=&#8221;off&#8221; border_color=&#8221;#ffffff&#8221; border_style=&#8221;solid&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Golden Thread Grove Church-ATC\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>holds these beliefs:<\/p>\n<p><em>We believe in Spirit and magick.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We hold basic Wiccan beliefs in a Goddess and a God, the inherent divinity of every person, the sacredness of all life and the ecological &amp; magickal implications and ethics present in all Nature-based spirituality.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>While, as divine children of the great Goddess and God every person has equal access to\u00a0<\/em><em>deity, we also respect the guidance of\u00a0<\/em><em>experienced, initiated teachers and leaders.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We celebrate the life-death-life cycle and we know that we have many lifetimes in which to explore &amp; evolve spiritually.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We promote whole and balanced relationships with ourselves, with deity, with Nature, with ancestral lineage and in all our interactions.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We believe all of the ancient mysteries and magicks are hidden in the myths, legends, songs, art and dances of the past and will show themselves to those who seek in wisdom.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We are ever mindful of the principles of \u201cperfect love and perfect trust\u201d,\u00a0 \u201charm none\u201d and the karmic law of threefold return.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We honor all spiritual paths and use the myths and magicks of other paths to enhance and\u00a0<\/em><em>expand our own.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We honor love in all its healthy and life-affirming forms.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_toggle][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[et_pb_section admin_label=&#8221;Section&#8221;
